camp knife for the Ohio hammer-in

I wanted to make something to take to the Midwest hammer-in and knife show so I made this... another camp knife from clay quenched 1084. It is 12" over all with african blackwood handle. It's a 1/4" at the spine with a lot of distal taper. It's a chopper. I peened a huge wrought iron rivet from some old farm equipment through the handle. Man do I like working with the tropical hardwoods! I forgot how much easier they were to finish...

That's nice, Scott!
Those guys in Ohio will enjoy that.
Wish I could be there to see it.

Nice work Scott. I like the whole package...tapered tang, harmon, roughed up look
Just be careful with tropical hardwoods...mask & ventilation. Doc
