A bowhunting buddy makes mine for me, he does it the old way, wood fire and boil, boil, boil....
Awful darned good though!
Might be good to bring an extra bottle to spruce up the baits, might be an unfair advantgage though!

Good news! ( depending how you look at it...)

Enviroment Canada is calling for the driest, hottest summer on record.
After the wettest fall on record, this will even things up.
It does mean though that the skeeter population up north will take a beating( good stuff for us Sept bearhunters!)
Also the berry crop will not be the best; this will mean that bears will be hitting baits real hard as a result

which will make some very happy TG bearhunters!

this year will be nice, I'm bringing my thermacell anyways though; 'cause them northen skeeters are our Provincial bird up here! :eek:

they are big, they are nasty and they are legion.
I'm hoping the dry heat will crash and burn them quickly.
