Hawk Fresh off the Forge

I just finished up a new tomahawk that I traded a nice Kodiak Bow from another trad ganger for a while back. The bow went to a new trad shooter who is a close friend of mine. The hawk is a mid weight hammer poll made out of an old hatchet head. It is balanced perfectly. I finished the handle with three coats of danish oil and then buffed in two coats of hard canuba wax to give it a deep luster. The pics are a bit dull since I had to take them inside. The weather here has been constant rain for a few days.

AWESOME Hawk right there!
The character of the wood handle really adds nicely!
Keep up the great work!

Clay, I'm loving the profile on that one-especially that point dropping down the center of the handle. GREAT looking hawk

Steve,
Enjoy the drift when you get it. Tomahawks are my favorite blades to make.

You make great hawks, Clay, as this one and the St. Jude hawk I won prove beyond a shadow of doubt.
