I use mine for drifting tomahawks, bending, twisting. making rounded arcs in steel. Pretty much everything that I can't do on a flat anvil surface is done on the post vice. Mine is set up pretty much like Khalverson's. I also use it to hold a knife clamp system K Morgan made for me. I use the post vise pretty much every day I am in the shop.

No Anvil here Kevin.I have wanted an anvil for most of my life,but not for forging,just for lifting.You know,stupid human tricks. I will have to get them buckets around and see what I have,.
