Just got this one done today. Handle is oak burl
with 3/16" copper pins and curly Q's on the end(not sure if I am going to leave them on or grind off) Blade is 7" oal is 12.5 and the blade is
1.75" wide 1/8" thick.ts a bigun for sure and fits real nice in hand.<><

Another vote to leave the pommel the way it is. Adds a lot of character and you could tie a wrist thong onto it if you were doing some heavy chopping.

Looks great Frank. I would leave the curly steel embellishments if I were you. They really enhance the unique look of that knife.
