Elk Hunter
« on: February 13, 2011, 05:28:00 PM »
here's one i just finished up for next season.  i had some nice elk anter scales i cut up several months that i'd been saving for a special knife like this one.  it's 6" long and is made from 154cm steel.  i also used some rust colored liners to help the elk scales stand out.  enjoy!

Wow all around!! Like that sheath a LOT!  Did you do the heat treat on the 154 or send it out?

Outstanding! Great design, perfect for field use, good choice of materials, excellent file work, well made sheath, and everything looks beautiful. It doesn't get much better than that. You should be very proud of your work!
