Ironwood, redwood burl, and more!

I finally got around to taking some pictures of some recently finished knives. so here they are!
The first one Has home stabilized redwood burl scales(my first attempt), I'm really happy with how it turned out!    :D

Nice knives!!  I like the top one best. That redwood looks great with the darker steel. How did you get that finish on that blade?

Thank you all for the kind words, it means a lot.    :notworthy:  
I've only been making knives for about 5 months, and only nights and weekends at that. I'm just trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible from all the amazing makers here and on other forums.

It is a mustard patina. If you would like I can describe my process in detail.   :)

Ben, with the mustard patina do you apply the mustard on the blade and just let it sit overnight or is there more to it? and does it have to be "Grey Poupon"  Lol

I use plain yellow mustard. after you are completely done sanding the blade, just dab on a thin layer with your finger tip in a pattern you like. I let it sit at least 5hrs but longer is fine. Then wash it off.

That knife with the redwood burl handle may be the most attractive knife I've ever seen.  You're a true artist!

The more I look at it, the more I like the redwood handled knife also. The pattern on the blade catches my eye.
