first try

I am not handy at all, but here we go.  About a year ago I bought a file blade blank from Clarence and finally got up the nerve to attempt to put a handle on it.  I had some scraps of hardwood laying around and used them.  I like the feel of the blade and it might make a good hunting knife to carry.

 

A few years ago I cut a skinner type blade out of a circular saw blade and finally put some scales on it, too.  The blade is pretty thin and the handle seems "too curved."  I might just hang it on my bow rack, 'cause it doesn't seem useful.

 

Anybody know where to get another blade or two so I can try my luck at putting another handle on?

Thanks everyone.  I checked out Jantz and Texas Knife Supply for some blades.  They look real nice. I need to order a couple and try again at putting scales on.  I really like the looks of the damascus blades, but the are pricey.  I better practice on some of the less expensive blades.
