Possibly for St Judes
« on: March 25, 2011, 05:12:00 PM »
Well since I tend to show most my knives with para-cord and with the St Judes Auction just around the corner, I figured I'd better finish one  :)

This one is in true Keeslar style dressed up with Copper liners under Burl Desert Ironwood.  The scales were peened on without any glue by 8 gauge Copper wire to match the liners.  More of a bird/trout style knife of 5160...8 1/2 inches OAL with a 4 inch blade.

If this is the St Judes Auction knife, Scott Teaschner has offered to partner up with a sheath.  You owe it to yourself to check him out in the sponsor classifieds.  When he's not building saddles for Big Sky Saddle Co, Scott does some beautiful leather knife sheaths & arm guards.  Although I have a couple other possible St Judes knives in the works, it will probably be something along these lines.  Thanks Scott...Doc

I will definitely be one of the bidders, Jeff. Great looking knife. Scott's sheath looks good too.

Jeff, that is an outstanding piece!  I love the Iron wood, and the flaired finger guard on this one is great, I like how thin and even you drew that out, without any deforming of the spine.  Nice work!  Great sheath too!
