Skinner and Hawk

Here are a couple of things just finished..a 5" OAL skinner from 1084 and a punched eye hawk from W2

Very nice set, Scott.  The scales on the skinner are particularly nice, as is the clean profile of the hawk.  As I've said before, I really like your style.  Thanks for posting.   :)

Nice work.  I am curious what inspired the scale liners to go with the rustic finish on the knife.

Thanks again folks...

Clay... I love the idea of Keeslar's 'Paradox' - matching rough finishes with higher finishes.  I don't take it to the extreme that he does with his engraved spines and wire inlays, but I like the yin and yang of rough and smooth.  I also am inspired by the Japanese concept of 'wabi sabi' or 'flawed beauty' or anything related to order from chaos.

How much for a pair of knike and hawk like that?  You can PM me.  I would like the knife a little longer say a 3 5/8" blade
