Trinity Desert onyx Bulldog skinner
« on: June 09, 2011, 12:49:00 AM »
This is the second Gemstone handle knife I did. A beautiful piece of Desert Onyx.

We took about a ton out of the mine about 1972. Mike Rash maker of Legends Bows thought I laminated some of his wood. Funny this knife dont look like the bow I just shot in pic about 5yrs ago, dont know whos bow it was for but I liked it and I did ma [http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc516/75diagg/th_LenorasBulldogweb.jpg[/IMG] Fact is most of my wood comes from Mike. And if you have a Legends Bow? Well I may have made a knife out of your bow wood. Didnt laminate this. Did cut it from about a 15lb piece of rough rock.     You can click on image and it will show a bigger pic...Terry Green told me to find a 10yr old to show me how to do these pics. To smart for me. For a living I only take pics of insides of diamonds and such with a fancy camera set up to a microscope and put them on appraisals........Gotta find a 10yr old to load the better pics like all these other really fine knife makers.

To post the pics, try this:

If the pic is larger than 640 wide, use Photobucket's "Resize" function and set the width to 640.  It should adjust the height for you to keep the aspect ratio the same.

When you go back to your album page, mouse-over the pic and click on the "Direct Link" option.  It should flash "Copied" in that field.

Go to your new post and click the "Image" button below where you type.  It should pop up a window where you can "Paste" what you copied from Photobucket.  It automatically puts in the code to show the pic in the main message for you.

The result should look something like this [ IMG ]http://address.com/image.pic[ /IMG ]  (I added spaces so it wouldn't try to actually put a pic in there)

BTW, that's one cool knife.
