Basement workshop and indoor range PICS
« on: January 29, 2008, 07:58:00 PM »
Well I just posted these pics on an old thread titled "my knife shop pics" or something like that, it was an old thread from Feb 2007 with about 6 pages of pics. Shortly after I posed, the thread was closed???? It hadn't been posted on since March 07 so I have no idea why it would suddenly be closed. I don't think it could have been something in my pics? Oh well here goes again.  I just cleaned and re-orginized my shop so I figured I better get pics while it is clean! It is my basement(MANCAVE) and has a room off of it with knife building stuff in it, it is actually under my front porch. I was also able to incorparate a 17 yard indoor range into my basement. I like all the room you have....oh, and the door pulls! Did you use old cabinets that you replaced in your house?

I love it, I could live in a space like that.

If I had a basement like that...well, aside from hunting, I don't think I'd ever come above ground...

Wish I had a chest of drawers like that! I was just marvelling at all the places there were to lay something down.
I don't have anything like that here.  :readit:

Snag, those were old cabinets out of a kitchen, but not mine. My buddy was redoing a kitchen for someone and they were getting rid of them so I got them all real cheap. They were in my shop at my old house, and one of the stipulations when I sold it, was they came with me! After all, I did have alot of work in all those deer and moose antler handles!  :bigsmyl:
I do spend a ton of time down there, even if it's just hanging out, like I said about the "mancave" the wife lets me do whatever I wish down there, well as far as decorating that is!

I like it.  I hung some of my parent's old kitchen cabinets up in my basement and shoot down there too.  i can only shoot about 8-yards but that's plenty for practicing your release and form...  How far can you shoot?

Way too clean for a work shop.  Do you actually build anything down there?  :)
