Cool little camper

I've had this blade in process on the bench for some time and finally finished it this evening. With the 6 1/2" blade I'd call it a camp knife. Played around with some different twist patterning and I like it. A good friend in HI gifted me the piece of Koa he called Blister Koa. Sure wish I could do it justice with a camera, this stuff has an incredible 3D effect.
Enjoy.

Beautiful work as always Doug! Can I ask what steels you used for the Damascus?
