week #4 Cowboy folder
« on: September 10, 2011, 04:24:00 PM »
Gents here is this weeks folder.
Noticed some guys name there knives so ,I did also.LOL
Also noticed some folder makers make there blades shine so I tried to, also.
Its about 3.5" closed
6.5" open
Spalted maple scales
 very sharp, 0-1 steel
stainless screws
My Damascus bolsters
Anodized titanium liners (purple)
Purple thumb stud (stone) I stole from my wifes jewelry box and inserted in homemade screw head.
More tedious filework this week

Next week will be the last linerlock folder ,but I will try and make it very special.
Thanks for Looking

Everything works there - and nicely.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Well named folder, I know lots of cowboys that would walk right by a pretty girl for that one.
Well, the old ones like me anyhow.

Kevin, you are getting very good at these folders, it looks like you have been doing it for years. Your vine work is outstanding, really would love to carry that on my belt. Keep them coming
