FINALLY FORGING PART 2
« on: September 15, 2011, 07:47:00 PM »
my second forged knife is a beaver tail throwing knife. they are used in tomahawk and knife throwing compitions at primitive camp outs and blackpowder shoots. the steel is a piece of leaf spring. OAL is 12" and blade is 7-3/16"

the third knife is my first necker, i started it last year but with alot going on just now got it done, the steel is a piece of high carbon steel that a friend gave me.  has a antler handle and brass hardware.  OAL is 5-1/2" and blade is 2-1/4" .  the sheath is leather with a simple friction fit to hold the knive in while being worn and a antler bead to adjust lanyard lentgh.

thanks for looking
