My First Slip Joint
« on: November 11, 2011, 09:20:00 AM »
Gents this is my first slip joint folder, much harder than antisapated, hard as hec to get things lined up and flush.
Next one will be easier I'm sure.
The w-2 blade is 3" long
Bolsters & screws are stainless
Anodized Titaium liners
African blackwood handle

Lin, looking at the work Kevin does, in comparison to how long he's been doing it, I reckon he's already struck a bargain with someone!
Talent like that just ain't nat'ral!

Wow Rob ,Thanks those are nice words.I remember seeing you at blade couple of years ago and wanted to talk ,but you know how it is hard to get to talk to everyone you want too.Maybe this year we can visit.

Lin Thanks ,I really apreciate the nice words, from you and all the guys on here.
I find it makes working in the shop go much better especially when I have to redo something. and that happens a lot  :knothead:

Nice job on getting the screw slots all going the same direction.
True sign of attention to detail.
