Sheephorn Hunter

Here is one I just finished, still warm. The steel is 1084 and the handle is a nice set of sheephorn scales. The blade is about 4 1/4 inches for an OAL of about 9 inches. I really tried to concentrate on getting the sheephorn to meet up with the guard sides. That is why I had Chuck photograph both sides.

Very sweet Lin, that sheep horn looks like it will make a great handle and the blade is always nice

Its hard to beat good sheephorn!
Really hard to find pieces that match that good.

I'm working a similar hunter in damascus and with bronze guard material. It should look good with the sheephorn. Got to get a few ready for my table at the Arkansas show.

I love this knife! I have to say I have learned alot from this knife. I can't wait to put it to use on one of my own. Thanks for taking the time to show me the basics of how you get the horn ready for the handle.
