Blade made by tradganger Ben Tendick. Hafted into black bear phalanx bone with titanium filled epoxy. Over wrapped with German nickle wire and rawhide then coated with west epoxy. A strong, sharp tool.
Sheath is saddle leather covered with braintan buckskin. It is sealed to make it weather resistant. 3 disc magnets and a triple braided neck thong.
I will list this for $SOLD shipped

Forged 15n20 steel blade by tradganger Ben Tendick. Hafted with titanium filled epoxy that is over wrapped with Woodchuck rawhide. Triple braided buckskin wrist and neck thongs with Black bear molar adjuster . Sheath is sewn and edge laced with nickle silver and copper. Both edges are very sharp. A nice sturdy lttle tool.

Hi all, I bought the last 2 that Charles posted here and the quality of craftsmanship is excellent. I carried / wore one of them for the last 2 days of our hunting season without any problems. The magnets in the bear phalanx knife sheath work superbly and the blade took an excellent edge. He is a stand up guy to deal with. I am missing the model though. :D

I also bought a knife from Charles that I gave to my brother as a birthday gift. He says it's one of the best knives he's ever used. TRW
ps. I'm also wondering where the model is

The girlfriend / model will be back, had to travel for a funeral, I will tell her she is missed.
I appreciate the reviews. I enjoy making a practical, affordable tool for my fellow tradgangers.

Charles
Can't wait to you get to post pictures of the Bear Femur knives. I just checked out Ben's facebook page and the blades look great!
Thanks

JD
Charles and Ben are in the process of making a pair of full size knives for me and my son out of a bone from a bear i killed with my bow this summer. The bone i kept was the large femur bone. Each blade will be about 5" long and handles are another 4-5"....so these should be "full size". We will post some pics when completed.
Thanks
