I had a special guest over the weekend and just want to share. Ray Hammond had me down for a hunt a while back and I've been looking for a way to return the hospitality. So he was able to come up and work a couple of days with me in the shop. Here he is putting the finishing touch on a hunter that turned out very well.

Ray got in on a project I'm working on. I've begun building a shop and Ray graciously volunteered to help while he was here. Here are a couple of monkeys on top while Ray and I cut and handed material.
I snapped this today of the progress. It's now ready for the steel roof.
Ray did find time to make a new friend. Her name is Daisy.

That picture of Ray and Daisy is too much!
I'm sure you guys had a blast and that knife is killer!

Hey Karl
You will just drool over Lin's shop
The plans are tremendous. It's going to be a real sweet set up
Lin and his family are very gracious hosts and I learned a ton and confirmed what I already knew- I've got a LOT to learn!
Thanks Lin

Fantastic!
Ray, I was in Woodstock, GA in 2009 I wish I would have known you were there. I'd love to have met you and seen your work firsthand! Beautiful knife!

Well, I love framing and wish I could have been there.
The learning never stops, Ray.
Maybe we can talk Lin into having a Trad Gang hammer-in some day.

Ray is not the only TG'er who has helped me on my shop. That's Chris in the picture up on the roof cutting the lathe. Thanks Chris.
