Ostrich Knife
« on: January 29, 2012, 03:00:00 PM »
Just finished this one for the SCI Michigan Chapter fund raiser. Ostrich leg bone handle and faux ostrich leather inlay in the sheath. I couldn't believe how thick that leg bone was until I thought how long those legs are and what weight they have to support.

By the way, those seven layers of leather at the throat sure didn't get punched with my awl. Drill press time:-)
