Has anyone wrapped the hood of a kwikee kwiver in leather or know where to get one? I have seen them in pics and thought they looked cool but have no idea where they got them??

Feve316:
Here's a Kwikee that I had a local leathersmith wrap in leather for me recently. It is sewn together, but glued on to the quiver itself. No worries about the leather coming off. I have leather wrapped "Kwik-2s" that are close to twenty years old.
I've used Kwikees exclusively because no other quiver can be put on or removed from a bow as quickly and effortlessly. Whether I hunt with it on or off is determined by the tree stand or ground blind I happen to be hunting from. And I like having this kind of flexibility.

You should be able to have a leathersmith dress up a Kwikee for $30-$35. I had
three
dressed up with a bw spider for around $150. But that's including the cost of having a die made up of a bw spider (which I use for other leather accessories too).

Thanks guys.
I was at the Kalamazoo Trad Expo this past weekend and I must say that there are some very nice trad bow quivers available these days. The Kwikee is my favorite for the reason sited above. When I'm 18' up a tree, the last thing I want to be doing is wrestling with a quiver- especially in the pre-dawn/post-dusk darkness of the deer woods.

I agree Monty, best quiver made especially for the Money ! I also like to have my arrows close, but when i'm in a stand i like to remove the quiver so the arrows don't interfere with my shooting .
Very nice leather work!!!

Here is one I did...nothing fancy but cheap, the
quiver caddy is one from Mark Baker.

Feve, I got one from Tom Rhude off the auction site and like it very much on my recurve. I'll try to get his address for you if you like. Shoot straight, Rich

Feve, Google Rhude Traditional Archery to get to his store, then you can e-mail your request to him. I think I paid around $36.00 for the quiver and adapter. Good luck, Rich
