Blackwood/1084 Hunter
« on: July 09, 2012, 10:05:00 AM »
I forged this knife a couple months ago and just got around to finishing it up. I am going to donate it to the Mt. Zion Archery League to be given away as a prize in the fall. It is 1084, full tapered tang with African blackwood scales and stainless corby rivets. Still need to put an edge on it and make a simple leather sheath.

Very nice, indeed.
I really like what you did with the dropped edge, choil and ricasso area.
Very well thought out.

That is a classy piece all the way around.  It's very cleanly-finished with great lines.  The hamon looks marvelous.   :)
