Knapped handle & stone washed
« on: September 09, 2012, 11:18:00 PM »
This is a super simple little knife I just finished.
I gave it a scalloped/knapped handle and a stone washed finish. Nothing fancy, but it is ready for work!! The OAL is 7", with a 3.5" blade of .214" 5160. I call these little all steel knives my BPK's or Bomb proof knives.
Let me know what you think!

I think you've stumbled onto something very cool and practical there, Ben!  Kudos!  :)

That there is a damn fine knife!

Lets say I'm in the Portland area, say in late Nov.
Lets also say I'm going to be in Springfield area, visiting the inlaws.

Is is possible to view some knives in person?
I like the last several youve posted...

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Yeah Kevin, I finally splurged and got one!    :D

You bet Scott, just let me know ahead of time so I can make sure I am home. I usually have at least one or two finished knives here.

I saw the FB posting of this and noticed the possibility of a matching 'hawk. Now THAT would be an awesome hunting/survival/combat tool!!!!
