My new "Thanks to Fred" Cutting & Sharpening Kit
« on: October 22, 2012, 09:54:00 AM »
My new “cutting and sharpening kit” from a Fred Bear great idea....with some personal variations:

- The sheath has the openable loop by two snaps buttons which allow the insertion on the belt without remove it.
The buttons snaps are hidden in the sheath inside to avoid damaging on the knife grip and for aesthetics reason.

- A leather strap loosens or tightens the sheath by a small snap button buckle to adjust the closure on different knives and to ensure blade stability.

- The Oil Stone with double face gradation, fine and coarse, for a more accurate sharpening.

Very nice! Where is that file from?

I like that file a lot but I can't read the name on the file, who makes it?

It's really a pleasure to share with you my passion.
I'm sorry for not being good with the english language to better communicate with you and talk about many other things smoothly, as if we were around a nice camp fire.
For the whole "civilized" world the U.S.A has always been a reference of freedom and rights.
For a traditional bowhunter in addition to this America is the home of the founding fathers of modern bowhunting.
For this reason I appreciate a lot this communication even if only through the PC.

Your leather work is excellent. Glad to see something so innovative and well done.

I'm like some of the others here. I really would like to know what brand that file is. I see the word "England" on it, but that doesn't tell me enough about who made it.

WOW!!!

That is just GORGEOUS!  I'd love to have one on my belt just like it. That's the kind of knife Fred had in his kit.

You sure are talented. Thanks for sharing your work. We're glad to have you. Don't be shy about posting more.

Thanks
Nalajr
