14" Bowie with my first Scrimshaw

Just finished this yesterday, 14" Bowie with deer antler, brass guard and a feather scrimshaw (my first). Let me know what you think.
 If these pictures are to big sorry photobuck has changed. Im working on resizing

Wow Dana, how did I miss this post! Dana buddy you have came a long ways my friend. Great work all around very nice scrimshaw..

Dana, very nice work!  Did you grind off a brow tine and smooth the antler?

The scrimshaw looks good too!  Great looking package!

Steve, I did grind it off, and the antler, to fit the knife, it was a big antler, I could not find another one is the reason for the grinding. I stained it with leather die. I like scrimshaw, maybe the next one will be on the side.

Dana, the reason I asked is I thought I could see where the tine was.  I have been meaning to try that, It turned out well.  I actually like how it looks!  Nice.
