Rainy Day Project
« on: December 26, 2012, 03:18:00 PM »
Well, it's raining fairly steady here in NC so I figured I'd make a sheath for a knife I picked up at an antique sale back in April.

The maker is unknown, but it is obviously old and with a forge welded blade. If you look closely in the blade pic you can see the circular lap at the weld.

And after making a pattern, it started coming together.

I have two upcoming hunts and I believe this knife might come out of retirement.
