Finished up this little stag Bowie/Fighter for a customer in Baton Rouge. Forged from 5160, blade is 7-3/4" x 1-1/2" x 1/4" at spine, differentially heat treated, sharp clip, ready to go...

Matt, that is exceptional! I like the guard and the stag is very pretty too with the light amber color! The sheath is simple and attractive. Beautiful blade shape. Does it have a butt cap?

Thanks! Steve, yes it has a butt cap, a piece of 1/8" thick SS that is contoured/blended into the stag.... Unfortunately I didnt have time to get a bunch of pics, had to be in the mail today by noon.

Matt, that's very nice!! If I could afford to be a collector I would have several of your knives in my collection. Thanks for showing it here.

I like the knife a lot. 5160 is a good steel for big knives like that. Very tough and still takes a good edge and holds it well.
