A trio of "ECO" camp/fighters...
« on: May 31, 2013, 07:00:00 PM »
I make a few of these "between" orders,  these 3 are going to the same customer.

Leave the flats as forged, and put a quick belt finish on the bevels... this along with a quick cord wrap keep things affordable.

Those are very business like recurves you have there. I like the forge finished flats.
Are the clips chisel or double ground? Sharp?
I bet you could sell a bunch of these, if the price was right, as kit knives.......just drill some holes for pins etc.

thanks Darcy...  the clips are double ground, and sharp.  Ive thought about offering some as "kit" knives, but its a matter of finding time etc....

Very nice. What steel did you forge?

Beautiful work.  Where in Jasper are you located?  I'm up 195, but all I can do for knifemaking is buy blades and put handles on them.  Your work is amazing.  You keep me wanting to improve every time I see your work.
