Just got this photo of the last knife I finished before the busy summer season hit. That's a tightly twisted 4 1/2" Damascus blade and guard with some very nice stabilized curly Koa I brought home from HI.

That's fantastic Doug! I really like the skinny guard on this one, and the Koa is off the hook!

Outstanding as always.  I just finished up a set of koa knives.  One of my favorite woods to work with.  I'm a little jealous that you got to bring yours back with you and I just got to order mine.

I am working on a similar profiled blade and size, I had thought my handle may be a bit long, after seeing your knife I feel better about my project.

I like the guard too!
