Operation Valkyrie
« on: August 29, 2013, 10:11:00 PM »
I just finished up this one off prototype for my new "Valkyrie" hawk and I thought I would share some pics. This is the longest handle I have ever wrapped and it took a huge stingray skin! The normal version will have G10 or micarta scales and a slightly different grind, but I wanted to make this one special.

That's awesome!       What steel is it and how thick do you make your hawks?

That's the longest wrap I've seen done!
Very nice.
I like the whole concept.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Thanks a bunch guys! This one does have a pretty deadly feel to it. It would make a good "bump in the night" companion.  ;)
