Thanks, Woody and Kenny, for the nice comments.

I tried to work with metal once, VTm, and it interacted with my fillings - ouch! Oh, that's right, I don't have those kind of teeth anymore - LOL.

Very nice looking bow Bernie.  Bet it shots as sweet as it looks!  With talent like yours you should build a 'curve next.  How many coats of finish did you apply?

Thank you - a lot of guidance from Mike there, shapeshifter, but we both were very pleased with the way they came out.

Also my friend, fellow military (Navy Corpsman w/FMF)retiree, and fellow archery club member, Mike Brooks. He ordered the woods out of AL, as I recall, and made a little different glue up for both me and him.

LOL - Still getting it tuned in on right arrows and all the little things, Lee. Killie beat you for dibs on my ACS - but no worry, it ain't happening anyway. I will have the new one with me at B'more, and will shoot it some, even if not for full courses. I took it to a club meeting tonight and I have to say that it was pretty well received (and that's an understatement).

The glue ups came out of Arkansas, not Alabama.  They are the work of Lindell Beene who I have ordered quite a few of these from and I highly recommend if anybody in interested in making a solid and fairly inexpensive bow.  The woods he uses are beautiful and he is very helpful should you need it.
