All right-eeee then, gonna show y'all the final pics (if you care to see them, after all this).
To recap - it is my first, and a Hickory Backed Massarandruba (Beefwood, Bulletwood) lb, with Brazilian Cherrywood handle, and Bloodwood tip overlays. It's name is "Ol' HB". I am still trying to decide whether to apply a leather, or wrapped cord, handle wrap on it (so I guess it isn't really finished
). I cut and applied a Sealskin rug, and used a Bear arrow pass pad. It is 67" ntn, 40# @ 27" and a sweet, smooth shooter. I finished it with a number of coats of MinWax Polyurethane in Satin (for less glare) and a final coat of Johnson's paste wax. I haven't really learned the best way/place to get pics of the bow, so forgive the cut off ends (I need to be a little taller, or set a milk crate on the picnic table to climb up on too - :D ):
Thanks for being patient, and for looking. (Thanks, Mike Brooks.)
