Veggie Monster!
« on: January 09, 2014, 06:34:00 PM »
I just finished this big boy up last week, and I figured I would share it with you all! This is my new santoku design. The blade is 14c28n stainless. I am really liking this steel, it takes a VERY fine edge, holds it nicely and is very corrosion resistant. The handle is some very nice stabilized curly Koa. It has a tapered tang and my copper/carbon fiber pins. The choil is nicely rounded and polished for a comfortable grip.
OAL is 12", and the blade is just a hair over 7".

This should make one heck of a Veggie chopper!!
