Oh, man-that is really shaping up. Can't wait to see it finished up.

Thanks guys!

Got some more work done on the fittings today.

This is the backside of the pommel. I weld a small "stub tang" on it to hold it in place. I think it gives it a nice clean look.

Very nice knives you're going to have on your table.  I look forward to seeing the Bowie.  Perhaps more awards will come your way at this year's show, I hope. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Chris. The others in this thread have actually all sold already, but I will be shipping them after the show so I can enter them in the knife competitions. So far no one has spoken for the big bowie. : )

Thanks gentlemen!

Just wrapped up the show! I sold a few knives, got to chat with some old and new friends and had a great time.
I didn't buy much, but what I did was pretty good.

Mmmmmm fossil walrus.

WOW!! Those are reeeaaally cool looking, Ben. I can't wait to see what you do with those. I feel like I'm a long ways away from using such premium materials. Great score and glad you had a good show.

Great talking with you again at the show. With the knives with such high quality, it is no wonder that  you are now a full time knife maker. Pls. Say hello again to your " brother " again for me.
