Koa Handle Material
« on: April 09, 2014, 12:55:00 AM »
On our recent vacation to HI I collected a fair amount of Hawaiian Koa wood for knife handle material. Actually too much for me to use myself so thought I'd list a few blocks and see if any of you guys would be interested.

I just got a batch of em back from K&G freshly stabilized. I just finished cleaning them up today and hope to get back a little of what I spent in HI. Just listed a batch on the Sponsor's Classifieds, here's a link.    Koa

There is another thread with some non-stabilized stuff there also.

Thanks for looking.

Some really nice pieces of handle material, Doug. If that's the "extra", I'll bet you've got some REALLY nice stuff ready to go on some of your knives  :) .
