Hello all,
Been a busy, hot, dry summer here in the interior of BC, and bladesmithing took a back seat to other things. But I am finally getting the time and inclination to bash steel again.
This will be a semi skinner with elk antler handle. I haven't yet decided what the fittings will be. It is a lower layer count twist pattern of 1084 and 15n20.......
I haven't forgotten that I owe you fellas a sheath making WIP, so look for that in the not too distant future.
I have been lurking here a bit, but not spending much time online to post replies, so to all the guys posting projects, thanks for showing them and keep up the good work...........
I`ll still be running the knife making machine at only half throttle for a while as hunting season kicks into high gear.........but the winter smithing season is approaching soon enough, and the inventive juices are starting to flow......I look forward to the sharing of knowledge around this fire again.
