Traditional Brotherhood... Its alive and well (pics)
« on: February 04, 2007, 10:24:00 AM »
I went to the United Bowhuters of Missouri 20th Anniversary banquet yesterday, and had the greatest time. Everyone was professional and almost like old friends. Ken Beck from Black Widow was the main speaker and meeting him (after so many years) was the highlight of my day.

I did spend some time at the Compton booth. I am glad I did. They told me just how close the drive is to get to the Compton camp site in June. I will be going this year.

Being around "Trad guys" was superb!  I'm almost ashamed that I havn't made time to do this more.

I think I know that guy in the second picture fondling the widows on the rack, wearing the TradGang hat and blue sweatshirt!!!!!!   It's ME. And that KCTREEMAN standing beside him in the black leather jacket.

We all "should" have had on our Trad Gang nametags, then we could have had introductions.

Great day, with good people.

JD, glad you got a picture of my best side.  I couldn't keep Irish away from those Widows.  Those folks are some of the best people in business.  They always have time to talk and answer questions.  If you ever get close to Nixa, just south of Springfield, MO you have to stop by their shop.  We had a great time visiting with all the UBM guys.  I never got a call about the Widow raffle so I guess I'll be using my old standby for another year.
