A couple recent blades
« on: September 27, 2014, 11:47:00 AM »
I just finished up this Compact Scout and figured I would share some pics.
Nothing fancy, just some Polsihed black G10, a tapered tang and razor sharp CPM-154 blade.

The sheath is hand stitched veg tan.

This one is my Belt knife with Stabilized curly walnut scales and an antiqued 80crV2 blade.

Both are beautiful Ben. I like the first better for some reason.

Nice work.  That first one is especially sharp.  No pun intended:)

Ben,

I really like the plunge line of the bevel on your second knife.  I am trying to achieve something similar but haven't got the hang of it yet!  Very nice work.

They are carbon fiber, super light and very strong.
Plus they are black, so they look cool. : )

You could build a knife out of a top knob off a nickel plated bed frame and it would look cool....
