Haven't had the time or really any desire to make a knife in close to three years. The bug finally bit me again this last weekend and I can't say I haven't missed it. It was nice to be back in the knife shop.
Also the level of craftsmanship, talent, and willfulness to help one another is one of the reasons I enjoy posting here.
It was a little tricky getting back into the groove but overall I am pleased with the results.
This is my take on a clip point hunter made for a good friend. 5" blade around 3/16" thickness at the riccaso with a distal taper in both directions, making this blade very lively in the hand. Edge quenched L6 steel with cocobolo scales, hammer Finished bolsters with bronze pins. Thanks for looking.
