San Mai Hunter
« on: November 06, 2015, 09:48:00 PM »
I know - hard to believe.
A San Mai hunter.
But truly, I would make one of these a week if I had to. Each is uniquely different.
1095 core with 420 Stainless jacket and stabilized Missouri Black Walnut.

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

I wish you would post one a week! I love seeing them.

Beautiful knives!

Thanks gentlemen.
This is one of those where I just hit the exact temp needed for the San Mai jacket to act like clay and give me some hamon as well.
I love it when that happens.
