Thanks guys.
Doug, did you do any hunting or just soak up some sun on the beach? I always wanted to go there and spend a bit of time hiking the ridges with bow in hand after pigs and goats.

That's just awesome! I really like the way you leave the scale at the top of the blade, that's my kind of knife! Great job, good to see your knives on here again.

Sorry no Bermuda shorts and no hunting this trip but did get in a little fishing. Here is a pic from last year up in the high country with Ryan Sanpei and one from the last evening sunset and chasing Bones night fore last...    :(

Got home at 0300 this morning, so getting a slow start today... From tickling my toes on the beach back to boots in the snow...    :(  Gonna be good to get back in the shop though. Nough bout me, keep em coming Darcy.     ;)

Looking at that photo of your knife laying on that wool sweater made me think that any Scotsman would be proud to have that knife in his sock.   :archer:

Thanks again guys.
I finished the sheath. I left the welt natural so there was no chance of leather dye staining the ivory.......sort of made a cool looking contrast in my opinion.

That's great looking and yes I agree, the contrast with the un-stained welt looks great. Just curious, what stain did you use on the other parts of the sheath?

Just Fiebings alcohol base medium brown. The lining leather is black bikers type garment leather.
