#7 drop point hunter. What do you think?
« on: April 21, 2016, 08:21:00 PM »
Finished another one.  Blade is about 6 inches.  Nicholson file, hickory scales, steel pins.  I'm pretty happy with this one.  What do you think?

Improving each time. Keep up the good work. That's better than the seventh knife I made.

Very nice. I like the blade design and like how you left some file marks in the blade.  Keep'em coming!

I like a simple, working blade. It looks like it is ready to work.

Thanks Sam.  I like a simple blade too. Just a drop point with enough meat to do some work a knife wasn't intended for.

This was the first one i pinned the scales on.  I know one well known maker who never pins them but after some conversations here I figure if you where a belt and suspenders your pants can't fall off so epoxy and pins it is.

Lin you've inspired me enough that I'm gonna forge one soon.
