Large Laddered W blade
« on: May 06, 2016, 08:31:00 AM »
I should have this big knife finished before long. The blade is 12-1/2 inches. Here is a "before" photo of the blade. It took me many hours to get to that point.

The after photos.

It is always amazing how plain those blades look until the etching is done. Can you see any of the detail in it when you are looking at it in person before etching?

Sometimes in the right light you can see a hint of it.

Such a beautiful pattern. Can't wait to see what comes of the package.

That is a great looking pattern. I'll be waiting for the finished knife like everyone else.

Wow!   That's gonna take a hunk of leather to sheathe!!   Beautiful blade Lin.   Can't wait to see the finished knife.
