The TCK #5
« on: June 08, 2016, 11:44:00 AM »
I've had a million requests for a tactical fighter type knife. I tried to not go down this road but it was hard to ignore that many requests.

I wanted something classicish looking, different, and above all, functional. I put it through the ringer this last week and I feel good about it. And let's face it, they do look really cool.

This one has olive drab linen micarta, L6 steel treated and tempered to about 58 HRC. The sheath is a bit tricked out and I installed a Leatherman Wave, Ferro Rod and Streamlight Micro light. I was able to get a few fires going in a very wet and humid East Texas using cedar bark and some rich lighter pine. It worked awesome.

Thanks for looking,

Todd

I can see you put some thought into it. The steel and the Rockwell is appropriate and I love the over all package. Yes, there is a place for this knife and I think you did very well.

Well designed, awesome knife! I now want one and yet don't need another.
