Curly maple hunter
« on: July 17, 2016, 08:39:00 PM »
I haven't finished a knife in over a year, so I am was happy to get this one to the finish line. I started this blade in NJ, moved it to WI, drove it to Ohio for an ABS event where I fitted the handle and guard and then did the final fluting, sanding, etc this weekend in the shop.

It is 1084, guard is 303, copper spacer, stabilized maple handle and a nickel silver pin. I polished the inside of the guard and the rounded spine.

Critiques welcome

Thanks

It looks good. It would fit well on any hunter's belt.

That is a beautiful knife.

Really like that blade profile. Nice touch with the copper spacer too.
