Slip joint #1
« on: November 28, 2017, 04:20:00 PM »
This was my first attempt at a slip joint. Worked out much better than I expected and really happy with the end result.  The first picture is a Ruple style jig I built to assist with the spring/blade fit up.

I used 410SS lines, G10 scales and nickle silver pins.  The blade and spring are 1095.

That is really exciting stuff!!
The first couple are very intimidating.
Please keep us updated as your progress continues.

When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Very well done!

I love it!
