I've been lucky enough to shoot 1 fox.The shot was about 3 yards from the ladder stand I was in.Pinned it to the ground and it jumped up pulling itself off the arrow.Then was unlucky in not being able to find it.Tried and tried,but could not locate that little guy.Looked like a good shot,but apparently the fur is too thick for them to leave much of a blood trail.I was really bummed about that.That was the first,and only to this date,critter that I have not recovered in 20 years.......since my first bow shot deer in 1987 that I didn't recover.
