hogs @ Ray Hammond's place
« on: July 01, 2008, 11:11:00 AM »

A great group of new spot and stalk hunters came into our place and hunted the weekend..

Tons of hogs sighted...many stalks, and this was what got brought to bag, so to speak!

All these hog pics are making me want to pull some pork chops out of the deep freeze!
Just one more step please!

I finally learned how to post pictures.

Here's the one hog that did not elude my arrow. Others sure did. Missed 2 other hogs (one huge) and one doe. Made around 10 stalks got within bow range several times but only closed the deal on this good eater.

Ray's place is awesome and he is a hell of a good cook.

Can't wait to go back.

By the way Ray, I found several good recipes for armadillo and we are cooking one next time.

NOT ON MY GRILL, BUD!!!!!!!! You're gonna have to go native and do it over an open fire. I guess they do come with their own pot for stewing, don't they.

I hear the gauchos in Argentina will pass up a red stag to get to an armadillo. Maybe they know something we don't
