50# longbow, 2018 shaft with 150 Grizzly El Grande. Went about 100 yards. My first turkey with any weapon.

"Peanut"-Excellent! Our turkey season ended on Sunday and I played around with 4 birds for about 2 hours.....couldn't close the deal. Did you use a blind? I don't like shooting out of them, but I am begining to think if I want to shoot a turkey, I may have to learn to like 'em! Congrats! Great job! Mike

Thanks guys

Mike
On our place we have several permant blinds, the one I was in you go to if you want a good chance at a turkey.
Our turkey season runs along with deer bow and gun so we have lots of time for them.

Turkey with a bow is a real accomplishment.  Way to go!
