Kansas Deer

Want to start by saying that I hope ya'll enjoy my pictures half as much as I enjoy yours. This is my Kansas 8 pt. that I took on Nov. 13 of 08. I was very fortunate to be in the middle of some HUGE deer this year. This is one of the very few typical racks that I saw this year, Every thing else was CRAZY. I know that one of the deer I saw was for sure over 200 inches, what a sight to behold. Took this deer with my Fox High Sierra recurve. 65# at 30" draw pushing a Heritage 350 tipped with WW. Had to reach out there about 32 yds to get this big boy. That is about as far as I will shoot btw. The arrow blistered through his chest and stuck in the dirt. He went 70-80 yds before he tipped over. You want to talk about a happy camper:) He green scores 160 and 0/8 as an 8 Pt. Keep the pics and stories coming fellas. Good Luck!
